  1. Tio Para / OysterAges 3 and up. Swimmers are new or semi-confident in the water and parents are no longer in the pool. Focus areas are blowing bubbles, submerging, and assisted floating.Target age 3 years or older
  2. Wheke / SquidIdeal for swimmers confident with submerging. The focus shifts to unasissted floating, learning how to stand from a float, and performing banana rolls.
  3. Kōura / CrayfishFor swimmers who can float unassisted. This level introduces proper flutter kicking, freestyle arms, and backstroke arms with light assistance.
  4. Hoiho / Yellow-eyed PenguinSwimmers with a strong kick begin to work on breathing techniques and strengthening their backstroke. Introductions to breaskstroke kick and sitting dives are also included.
  5. Kekeno / SealOur first level in the main pool. Swimmers adapt to deeper water and longer lanes. Key skills inlcude bilateral breathing, further backstroke development, breaststroke arms, and standing dives.
  6. Whakahao / Sea LionThis level focuses on improving stroke technique and swimming distance. Swimmers learn breastroke timing, tumble turns, and gain confidence in diving.
  7. Ahoaha / DolphinsA stroke development class where swimmers refine freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke. This Level introduces butterfly, touch turns, and racing starts.
  8. Mangō / SharkPre-club level. Perfect for swimmers preparing for Club Level 1. The focus is on edurance, speed and perfecting all four strokes.
